Billing & Refund Terms

These Billing & Refund Terms ("Terms") govern the purchase, renewal, and cancellation of paid subscriptions to 38Hub ("Service"), operated by 38Hub ("we," "us," or "our"). By subscribing to any paid plan, you agree to these Terms in addition to our Terms of Service.
1. Subscription Plans
38Hub offers four subscription tiers designed to meet the needs of individual creators, growing teams, and professional agencies:
1.1 Free Plan
The Free plan provides limited access to core features at no cost. It is ideal for exploring the platform and understanding how 38Hub can fit your workflow. No credit card is required to sign up. The Free plan includes usage limits on AI generation, storage, and certain premium features.
1.2 Creator Plan — $19/month
The Creator plan is designed for individual content creators who need expanded AI generation limits, priority support, and access to advanced content tools including bilingual content generation, carousel design, and enhanced analytics.
1.3 Pro Plan — $49/month
The Pro plan is tailored for professional creators and small teams. It includes significantly higher usage limits, batch processing, video scripting, custom brand kits, and all features available in the Creator tier.
1.4 Agency Plan — $99/month
The Agency plan is built for teams and agencies managing multiple brands or clients. It includes unlimited AI generation, team collaboration features, white-label options, priority API access, and a dedicated account manager.
1.5 Annual Billing
All paid plans are available on both monthly and annual billing cycles. When you choose annual billing, you receive the equivalent of two months free — your annual price is calculated as ten monthly payments instead of twelve. Annual subscriptions are billed as a single upfront charge at the start of each billing year.
2. Free Trial
No credit card is required to create a 38Hub account or to use the Free plan. You may explore the platform and its core features without any financial commitment.
You can upgrade to any paid plan at any time from your account settings. Upon upgrading, your first billing cycle begins immediately and you gain instant access to all features included in your chosen plan.
From time to time, we may offer promotional trial periods for paid plans. If a trial is offered, the specific terms — including duration and any limitations — will be clearly communicated at the time of enrollment. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the standard rate.
3. Payment Methods
All payment processing for 38Hub is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- PayPal (where available)
Additional payment methods may be available depending on your region and will be displayed at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. If your payment method expires or is declined, your subscription may be interrupted as described in Section 8 (Failed Payments).
4. Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed on either a monthly or annual basis, depending on the billing cycle you select at checkout.
4.1 Monthly Billing
For monthly plans, your first charge occurs on the date you subscribe. Subsequent charges occur on the same date each month. If the original billing date does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), you will be billed on the last day of that month.
4.2 Annual Billing
For annual plans, the full annual amount is charged upfront on the date you subscribe. Your subscription renews automatically on the anniversary of your original subscription date each year.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive an email reminder at least 7 days before each renewal. The renewal charge will be at the then-current subscription rate, subject to any price change notifications described in Section 5.
5. Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. However, we are committed to transparency and fairness:
- You will receive at least 30 days advance notice via email before any price change takes effect on your account.
- Price changes will not apply to your current billing period — they take effect at your next renewal.
- If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect. Your cancellation will be processed at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged the new rate.
- Annual subscribers are protected from price increases for the duration of their current annual term.
6. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with 38Hub. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and straightforward:
6.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are subscribing to a paid 38Hub plan for the first time, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription date. This guarantee applies once per account and is intended to let you evaluate the platform risk-free. To request a refund under this guarantee, contact us at billing@38hub.com within the 14-day window.
6.2 Annual Plan Pro-Rata Refund
If you are on an annual plan and request cancellation within 30 days of your annual renewal date, you may be eligible for a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription. The refund amount is calculated based on the number of full months remaining in your annual term, minus any discounts applied at the time of purchase.
6.3 No Partial-Month Refunds
We do not issue refunds for partial months of service on monthly plans. If you cancel a monthly subscription, you will retain access to your plan until the end of your current billing period. No refund will be issued for the remaining days in that period.
6.4 Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the subscription. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account settings. There are no cancellation fees or penalties.
- Upon cancellation, you will continue to have full access to your paid plan features until the end of your current billing period.
- After your billing period ends, your account will be automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
- Your data — including ideas, content, settings, and generated assets — will be retained for 90 days after cancellation. During this retention period, you may resubscribe and regain access to your data.
- After the 90-day retention period, your data may be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- You may export your data at any time before or during the retention period from the Settings page.
8. Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails (e.g., due to an expired card, insufficient funds, or a declined transaction), the following process applies:
- We will automatically retry the payment up to 3 times over a 7-day period.
- You will receive an email notification after each failed attempt with instructions to update your payment method.
- During the retry period, your access to paid features remains active.
- If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be suspended and your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.
- Your account and data will be preserved for 30 days after suspension. During this time, you can update your payment information and reactivate your subscription.
- After 30 days of suspension, your data may be subject to deletion per our data retention policies.
9. Taxes
All prices displayed on the 38Hub website and within the application are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, sales tax, or other transaction taxes) will be calculated and added at checkout based on your billing address.
- The tax amount will be clearly displayed before you confirm your payment.
- Tax rates may vary by jurisdiction and are subject to change based on local tax regulations.
- If your organization is tax-exempt, please contact us at billing@38hub.com with your valid tax exemption certificate. We will update your account accordingly so that future invoices reflect your exempt status.
