What is Content DNA?

Content DNA is your brand identity profile. It tells the AI who you are, who you create for, and how you write. Every AI feature in 38Hub — from idea scoring to content cooking to caption generation — uses your DNA to produce output that matches your unique voice.

The 5 DNA Fields

1. Creator Bio

A short description of who you are as a creator. Include your expertise, background, and what makes you unique.

Example: "I'm a SaaS founder who writes about building products, growth marketing, and the realities of startup life. I've built 3 companies and have 50K followers across LinkedIn and YouTube."

2. Target Audience

Describe who you create content for. Be specific about their role, challenges, and aspirations.

Example: "Early-stage SaaS founders (0-$1M ARR) who are doing their own marketing. They're technical, time-strapped, and need practical, no-fluff advice they can implement today."

3. Content Pillars

Your 3-5 core topics. These are the themes you're known for and want to be known for.

Example: Growth Marketing, Product-Led Growth, Founder Storytelling, AI for Business

4. Tone & Voice

How you write. Describe the feeling of your content.

Example: "Direct and conversational. I use short sentences. I share real numbers and examples. Slightly irreverent but always helpful. No corporate jargon."

5. Custom Instructions

Free-form instructions for the AI. Anything specific about how you want content created.

Example: "Always include at least one specific example or case study. Never use the words 'leverage', 'synergy', or 'thought leader'. End LinkedIn posts with a question to drive comments."

How to Set It Up

  1. Go to Settings → Content DNA tab
  2. Fill in each of the 5 fields
  3. Click Save
  4. That's it — your DNA is now used everywhere automatically

Tips for Great DNA

  • Be specific — "casual but smart" is better than "professional"
  • Include examples — show the AI what good looks like
  • Use your real voice — write your DNA description the way you'd describe yourself to a friend
  • Update it — as your brand evolves, update your DNA to match
