Why Connect Your Channel?

Connecting your YouTube channel gives 38Hub access to your channel data, which unlocks personalized features:

  • Your channel statistics (subscribers, views, video count) displayed in the app
  • Future: Your search terms (what keywords people use to find YOU)
  • Future: Your video library with AI-generated title and thumbnail scores
  • Future: Direct publish and optimization from 38Hub

How to Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Connected Accounts
  2. Click "Connect YouTube"
  3. You'll be redirected to Google to approve YouTube access
  4. Select the Google account that owns your YouTube channel
  5. Approve the requested permissions
  6. You'll be redirected back to 38Hub with your channel connected

What Permissions We Request

  • youtube.readonly — Read your channel data and videos
  • youtube.force-ssl — Secure access to your data
  • yt-analytics.readonly — Read your channel analytics

We never post, edit, or delete anything on your channel without your explicit action.

Disconnecting

To disconnect your channel, go to Settings → Connected Accounts and click"Disconnect" on the YouTube card. Your channel data will be removed from 38Hub.
